her mall stride

the girls had a bit of free time out today. i said, 'since it's just us- lets do something special. we could even get a special girl's lunch.'  immediately, my child who too often holds in what she's really thinking blurted, "lets go to the mall! AND they have food there!"  because I wasn't about to ignore any abnormal blurting, we went straight to the mall.  and take a look at that stride!  (in all the store trips of the past to spend birthday monies or allowances, I don't remember such determination.)  i really shouldnt be surprised, practically born a pre-teen, she was ecstatic to get a cherry slurpee and some new bling for her ears.
