The smell of chinese food often brings nostalgic tears... reminding me of very simple times when family outings consisted of a daily walk to get the mail. Our mailbox was situated right next to our favorite chinese restaraunt and though we didn't typically splurge on pei wei, the free smells were a small delight every afternoon. It's hard to imagine that these tiny trips were once such an important part of a very slowed pace of life. I can't imagine having babies again or more specifically, returning to that particular stage of life but I do miss it as very special days with my babies.
