thankfully, despite all her hard work, she still says 'butcept' rather than 'but except' to prove she's not growing up too fast!

industrious free time
kindin is now writing mysteries in her free time. utilizing cam jansen characters (and real life characters), she writes about a repeat offender thief and a mom that says "PHEWF". when she isn't writing, she's practicing doubling numbers (she can double starting from 2 to 2,048 from memory)! and when she's outside on the trampoline, she's not just jumping, she's mastering her flip. her recent industrious pursuits are a unique departure from her usual arts and crafts leisure time (and hard proof that erik erikson was really on to something). her next endeavor? she's been begging for computer time to type up her mystery.

What great handwriting! I don't know what to do about my kid's handwriting, it's horrible! Seriously, bad. I could swear they wrote neater before they started school, so I'm blaming this one on the schools. But what to do about it, I don't know. So way to go Kindin, for having such neat writing!
