the tale of the little girl who turned 3 early

there once was a girl with a birthday that fell on a decently busy and rather inconvenient day.  her overly practical mother grumbled, 'i don't like the way your birthday falls this year!  it will not be special if we celebrate it that day.'  the mommy checked and re-checked her calendar and decided the best birthday for this little girl would be celebrated 11 days earlier.  her protective older sister, who adores all celebrations, showed signs of disapproval and the little girl's father protested that the mother must be crazy.  but the whole family agreed to the rouse and the little girl had an entire magical day filled with: bagels, minnie mouse, gum chewing, a bike ride, park playing, and her favorite friends.  and, just like that, the little girl was 3 yrs old... early!
