sweet six party

this year the one request stover girl made for her birthday party was to have it be a 'surprise' party!  i'm not sure that she really knew what she was asking for or where she got this idea.  but we went with it and since her birthday fell on the sabbath, there were plenty of excuses to put off her questions about when she'd be celebrating her big day. 'we'll find a way to make your day special somehow' rang through the house the entire week of her birthday.  (said with the same ring as 'we'll see' which stover girl equates with 'no')
