a most thoughtful gift (12/2019)

This Christmas, Kindin schemed with her father and surprised me with the best gift! Having truly paid attention, she noticed that I was eyeing a pair of Birkenstocks but didn't dare splurge. She set a good example and her brother followed suit  - purchasing an HGTV magazine - knowing my affinity for mindless reading in the bath.
