We were lucky enough to snag a brand new boat in April of 2020. Soon after, boats were in high demand with a very low supply. Boating was a fabulous way to isolate ourselves from society during our extra free time. Boating replaced swim team and summer camps. Boating replaced time with friends. Boating replaced public entertainment. In fact, we clocked over 130 hours on the boat engine over the summer as a family. Boating was the perfect 6 foot bubble!
Boating replaced summer vacation too. We booked a cabin with one of our very favorite boating families at Table Rock for some time on the water. (And some time touring Branson.)
