Jack has contracted ringworm a time or two from wrestling but in August, what started as ringworm quickly flared into eczema like he's never had before! It started in the customary spots but just kept spreading.
This rash was particularly resistant to intervention - despite multiple dermatology interventions. Jack was quietly suffering and itching all while it kept spreading. We had to pull him out of wrestling for a period of time which only pulled his spirits down further. We kept applying cream after cream. Dad gave a special blessing which promised "no lasting, permanent effects if you care for your body". (It also mentioned Jack being "extremely bright".) 6 months later, we're closer to finding a solution and he's back to wrestling... however, his sister's hypochondria remains on high alert. She has stopped using any and all hand towels and can frequently be seen using creative methods for high touch surfaces.
